The LLDG AGM is on Wednesday 26th April at 7 p.m. You can download the agenda, the minutes of the last AGM, and our Membership Application Form – to remind you about subs! We keep the sub low as the most important thing for us is to be able to demonstrate strong membership.
The future continues to be uncertain, with more government cutbacks scheduled, and now an election which may or may not affect the cuts.
The main part of the meeting will be a discussion on what we should be doing over the next year or so. We’ve invited Jon Chedgzoy and Jan Nesaratnam to join us, share some information and help us discuss the way forward.
Please come along if you can, and join in the discussion about: how we balance lobbying with supporting the development of a library strategy; fund raising – for books, for events, for a ‘fighting fund’?; and how we would like to see the library develop.
